I Find This Funny
Here is Bono on his good friend Paul Martin.
"Two years after appearing as the celebrity centerpiece on the day Paul Martin became prime minister, U2 front man Bono says he is crushed and mystified why Canada's leader will not live up to commitments to boost foreign-aid spending. "I'm crushed actually," Bono told a packed news conference on Parliament Hill, where he was speaking out on behalf of the international Make Poverty History campaign that he also fronts. "I felt as a former finance minister he would be able to make the numbers work." Bono is disappointed Canada has not committed to meeting the international target of boosting foreign-aid spending to 0.7% of GDP, a target Mr. Martin says he cannot commit under the current fiscal climate." Gee whiz Bono, you thought the leader of the most corrupt federal party in Canadian history would keep his promises? What a fool you are. Unfortunately too many other fools will be voting for this man and he may be our leading Canada again.
